The Parrsboro Open has been played at the PGC since 1980. This pro /am is one of the longest standing tournaments in Nova Scotia. The tournament is open to all Professional's and Amateur men that have a valid RCGA handicap. The tournament always has strong competitive fields with a Pro division and different amateur divisions. The Open has been made possible by the generosity of our great sponsors , volunteers , and players through the years, with O'Regans being our title sponsor
Over the years we continue to have several returning Professionals and amateur's who compete for the Wheaton Family trophy ,Pro purse and Low amateur spots
